some of the many things we can do in BOHOL, Philippines

This is just something I thought of blogging right after leaving behind again my family's recent residence in Bohol. There must have been lots of ideas posted about this wonderful island, but I'd still rather have my own touch of it.  So I'm gonna post here ideas on things we can normally do in Bohol.

1. We can have some peace and quiet. The coastal area in front of the hills and mountainous views are just awesome place to get away from the stress of the city. There is one spot in Getafe, Bohol that I particularly like to wait for the sunset...this one:

it's just too bad I missed to take a shot the big rock where I used to sit on to feel the ocean breeze while thinking of the unthinkables.

2. We can ride or drive along concrete roads without the traffic hassle.  Whether you're on your car on on an HB-HB (Habal-Habal), it's such a freeing feeling to be on this country road:

It's really amazing that at one point you'll see trees along the road, then you'll see rice paddies, and then you'll see the coast. It's perfectly a countryside!

3. Buy and eat Calamay. Hahaha. What comes to mind when we think about Bohol is actually not the Chocolate Hills alone but CALAMAY as well!  This is super asked for when you have just arrived from Bohol. It never fades as the number one "pasalubong" in town.  I just got a yummy picture down here:

4. Visit the famous and latest attractions. Nothing beats this, of course. Ever since,  Bohol was known for the Chocolate Hills in Carmen and the "Chocolate" river of Loboc. ^^ People also would love to visit the ancient Churches of Bohol, especially the one in Baclayon.  And recently, they have developed one in Sagbayan, the Sagbayan Peak:
This is a one-stop place where you can pose for pictures in their scenic views, let the children play in their garden-park, see a number of butterfly species, meet the famous tarsier, gaze at the chocolate hills from this side of Bohol, go swimming in their mountain resort, and a lot more.

But a visit to Danao, Bohol would be much more remarkable. See below:

Well, this picture doesn't say it all because there's more to this: Kayaking, Caving, and Trekking.  And the thing to remember is: whatever you ride, you are paying for the EXPERIENCE. ♥☺♥

5. BEACH-ing. Well, I coined this. But it sounds good to me.  Yeah, who would want to miss the Dolphin-watching in Bohol? or going Scuba-diving? or Snorkeling? Island-hopping? Partying? Surely we don't want...so I must experience them ASAP! ☺
